If you forget this password, which can happen, you can always use the recovery system offered by the developers of the program from the official website. However, it is important to set a master password that you can easily remember, as the recovery process is time-consuming and can be stressful.

Synchronize your data

A very interesting aspect of Data Guardian is that the app is available for both Windows and Mac. Fortunately, the databases are fully compatible with each other. You can create a database in Windows and open it later on Mac, and vice versa. You can also synchronize databases, easily combining information and updating them. Even if you need to export your database in plain text, you can do so with a single click in seconds. Afterwards, you can use this new text document in any other program.
